Brief

Merge Zendesk’s blog and resource content into a single library designed to drive organic traffic and convert more leads. The imagery needed to help each article stand on its own while still feeling unmistakably Zendesk.

Development

When I joined Zendesk, the blog relied on a single illustration style that was reused across articles, making the content feel repetitive despite its depth and quality. To address this, I proposed an editorial imagery approach inspired by leading publications, where a range of visual styles could coexist within clear brand guardrails.

Final

The new imagery system allows each article to express its own point of view through bespoke illustration or photography, while shared principles ensure the collection feels cohesive as a whole. Supporting brand imagery was intentionally given room to experiment within the blog, keeping the core brand intact while letting content feel fresh, relevant, and human.
